Job summary

Standard Bank of South Africa Limited is seeking a first line support specialist for Relationship Managers in Jersey to deliver exceptional client service within compliance and risk parameters.

Requirements include secondary education and 3–4 years in Business & Commercial Banking. You will support credit processes, onboarding, and timely responses to client inquiries, ensuring a seamless client experience with strong emphasis on AML/KYC controls.

Qualifications

• Secondary/High school/A levels required.
• 3–4 years experience in Business & Commercial Banking.
• Knowledge of AML, CFT and ABC advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to credit applications and renewals and assist with the credit process between clients and the credit risk team.
• Provide accurate and timely administrative support to relationship managers and liaise with internal departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Identify sales opportunities and support initiatives to increase client uptake of services and timely processing of transactions, including FOREX where applicable.
• Respond to routine client enquiries with speedy, accurate feedback to maintain positive relationships.
• Assist with onboarding of new clients while ensuring adherence to Compliance guidelines.
