Role profile:

LSEG is launching new Post Trade services beyond traditional core clearing businesses. To support this, we are hiring a Senior Analyst in Product Development based in London. The role involves working with the Post Trade Solutions team to develop and implement new products.

The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of OTC derivatives, product ownership, business analysis experience, and familiarity with Agile frameworks. The role requires collaboration with internal and external partners to resolve queries and issues, offering significant growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Support innovation and development of products/services to foster business growth.
2. Produce documents detailing end-user requirements, product and solution specifications.
3. Assist in analytical, investigative, and fact-finding activities for technology development.
4. Provide analysis and reports to identify new technology opportunities.
5. Test and validate client technology solutions for operational performance.
6. Evaluate new technological developments and evolving business needs for improvements.
7. Assist in preparing communication for customers about new and improved solutions.
8. Create quality documentation for review and reengineering based on feedback.
9. Identify and manage project risks and issues.

Essential skills and experience:

1. Participation in full Agile delivery processes, including story writing and backlog refinement.
2. Understanding of technical end-to-end processes and system interactions.
3. Experience with large, critical business projects.
4. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
5. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in MS Excel.
7. Interpersonal and influencing skills.
8. Proactive, driven, and capable of managing workload and deadlines.
9. Ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred experience:

1. Delivery experience in middle-office or similar financial areas.
2. Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Scrum teams.
3. Understanding of Post Trade OTC processes and market infrastructure.
4. Experience with FpML message processing systems.
