Job summary

Alexander Mae HR is seeking a skilled Business Analyst in Wiltshire, a 100% office-based role. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of £45,000–£55,000 plus benefits. The analyst will bridge business and IT, drive requirements, and support end-to-end change across the group.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will lead analysis across projects, facilitate sessions, document requirements and support UAT. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement are essential.
• Experience facilitating workshops and working with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in process analysis, gap analysis and documenting outcomes.
• Experience supporting UAT and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activity across projects and workstreams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers to understand needs.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, interviews and requirements sessions.
• Elicit, document and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements.
• Challen ge assumptions, identify gaps and manage risks and dependencies.
• Analyse current and future-state processes and perform gap analyses.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements with technical and solution teams.
• Support UAT, create test scenarios and obtain business sign-off.
• Produce clear requirements docs, process maps and decision records.
• Support RAID logs, action trackers and change impact assessments.
