Working Pattern & Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Location: Hybrid (Office located: Lancashire, WN8) - 3 days in the office

As a Business Analyst (Data & Product), you will play a hands-on role within our Product team, supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of our data platform, ecommerce products, and operational systems across our online pharmacy business.

As a Business Analyst (Data & Product), you'll work closely with Product Managers and teams across Data, Engineering, Design, Pharmacy, Operations and Commercial to understand challenges, define requirements, map processes, and translate business needs into clear, actionable outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology teams, ensuring we have a clear understanding of the current state, desired outcomes, data requirements, operational considerations and customer impact before any changes are made. This is a varied role spanning both product and data initiatives. You'll support everything from ecommerce customer journeys, pharmacy and fulfilment workflows, and internal tools, through to data definitions, reporting requirements, data quality improvements and platform enhancements. Bringing structure, curiosity and a strong attention to detail, you’ll help teams make informed decisions through clear analysis, evidence and insight.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, objectives, constraints and success measures.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria.
  • Support product discovery, prioritisation and delivery planning, identifying risks, dependencies and operational impacts.
Data & Insight
  • Define reporting requirements, business metrics, data definitions and data quality standards with data and analytics teams.
  • Document and improve data flows across ecommerce, pharmacy, fulfilment and operational systems.
  • Use data, customer feedback and operational insight to support recommendations and decision-making.
Product & Process Improvement
  • Analyse customer journeys and internal workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess the impact of changes on customers, colleagues, compliance and operational performance.
  • Map current and future state processes, recommending practical solutions to business problems.
Delivery & Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering, design, QA, data and operational teams throughout discovery and delivery.
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, releases and post-launch reviews.
  • Ensure requirements remain clear, testable and traceable from problem statement to delivered outcome.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships across the business and communicate findings, risks and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Help foster a data-driven, evidence-based culture that supports effective product delivery.
About You

You're naturally curious and enjoy getting into the detail of how products, data, processes and systems work. You combine strong analytical thinking with a practical, delivery-focused mindset. Organised, proactive and highly accountable, you take pride in your attention to detail and your ability to spot risks, challenge assumptions constructively and ask the right questions.

You’ll be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical teams. You understand the importance of data quality, clear business definitions and measurable outcomes, and you're always thinking about the wider commercial, customer and operational impact of your work. Whether you're working on ecommerce products, internal systems or processes, you're someone who enjoys solving problems, bringing structure to complexity and helping teams make better decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Good understanding of data concepts, reporting requirements, metrics, and data quality.
