Business Analyst - Contract

Role overview

To provide business analysis support to the 'research security compliance and risk' Product Team within the 'Research Innovation Operations' change portfolio. This includes working on initiatives such as:

• Foreign Influence Registration Scheme implementation
• Due Diligence processes and escalation
• Cyber security and research security risk mapping and mitigation

Duties and responsibilities

1. Work with key stakeholders and the project team to understand the project scope and objectives.
2. Ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Advise on analysis methods and stakeholder engagement levels.
4. Contribute to the overall project plan.
5. Analyse business options and facilitate agreement on preferred solutions.
6. Document detailed process models and scenarios (e.g., user stories, use cases).
7. Apply knowledge of national security legislation.

Knowledge required

1. Experience as a business analyst in project environments, focusing on service and process improvements.
2. Understanding of the full project delivery lifecycle across various phases.
3. Experience in workshop facilitation and stakeholder interviews.
