Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst to support a major public sector digital transformation programme. The role is hybrid with 2 days onsite per week, based in Manchester or Leeds, and payment is up to £450 per day inside IR35 via umbrella.

You will elicit, analyse and document business and user requirements, facilitate workshops, write high‑quality user stories and acceptance criteria, and support iterative delivery within an Agile environment to shape user‑centred

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector.
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Contract Business Analyst

Up to £450 per day | Inside IR35 | Manchester or Leeds (2 days onsite per Month)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative Agile environment, helping to shape and deliver user-centred digital services.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
• Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Desirable

• Experience working within the GDS framework
• Previous involvement in Discovery and/or Alpha phases of digital projects
• Experience delivering user-centred digital services
