Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a contract Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital transformation programme in the UK. This role operates in a collaborative Agile environment, shaping and delivering user-centred digital services with two days onsite per week (Manchester or Leeds).

You will elicit and document requirements, run workshops, write user stories, and support delivery teams within an Agile framework, contributing to service design and continuous improvement.

Contract Business Analyst

Up to £450 per day | Inside IR35 | Manchester or Leeds (2 days onsite per Month)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative Agile environment, helping to shape and deliver user-centred digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
• Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Desirable

• Experience working within the GDS framework
• Previous involvement in Discovery and/or Alpha phases of digital projects
• Experience delivering user-centred digital services
