Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a capable Business Analyst to join our team in the Tees Valley area. You will work on diverse programmes, analysing complex business problems and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Reporting to a Lead Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders, apply agile practices, and help design and implement effective business changes that align with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate level of education or equivalent work-based experience.
• Professional qualification in Business Analysis or working towards BCS Diploma.
• Experience on programmes and projects.
• Experience in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience in options analysis and feasibility assessments on small/medium projects or larger programmes.
• Proven experience in a business analyst role.
• Experience of agile working practices.
• Able to identify, investigate, analyse, and communicate complex business problems and opportunities.
• Modelling business processes with limited direction.
• Strong requirements management and ability to define and manage requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to influence decision-making on outputs.

• Proven experience working in a business analyst role
• Experience of agile working practices
• Experienced in identifying, investigating, analysing, and communicating complex business problems and opportunities, and conducting options analysis and feasibility assessment in small or medium projects or as part of a team on larger programmes
• Experience of modelling business processes with limited direction
• Excellent understanding of agile working practices and ability to apply them in projects
