Tribal Group in the United Kingdom seeks a data‑driven Business Analyst to join the EBS team, collaborating with product managers, developers and customers to translate complex challenges into practical solutions. You will shape requirements, support analytics, and guide AI-enabled processes in a dynamic EdTech environment.
This primarily remote role involves discovery, requirements gathering, testing, and change activities across Higher and Further Education SIS projects, with occasional travel
Tribal is a global EdTech organisation providing innovative software solutions that support education providers worldwide. Our mission is to research, develop, and deliver technology that helps institutions support learners, enhance teaching, and achieve exceptional educational outcomes.
The EBS system is a flexible, modular Student Information System (SIS) designed for Further Education, Higher Education, and vocational training organisations. It helps institutions manage student information efficiently, streamline operational processes, and improve learner engagement. With configurable modules and a real-time, unified view of students, staff, and activities, EBS supports the evolving needs of educational organisations of all sizes.
As part of Tribal Group's EBS team, our Business Analyst plays an important role in connecting business needs with effective technology solutions. Working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, customers, stakeholders and other analysts, you will support a range of activities including discovery, problem framing, insight generation, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, solution design, data analysis, and client support.
This role would suit someone with a strong technical and analytical background who enjoys understanding complex business challenges and translating them into practical solutions. You will help identify opportunities for product and process improvements, analyse data to support decision-making, and ensure EBS products and services continue to deliver value for customers and the business.
Whilst previous experience as an Analyst or within Product Management roles would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong analytical thinking, technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel required to our Sheffield office.
We offer a range of exceptional benefits to support your wellbeing and work-life balance, including a comprehensive Health Cash Plan, Private Medical Insurance and Employee Assistance Programme, along with a generous parental leave package and the ability to buy or sell holiday each year. You'll also have access to E-Learning opportunities to enhance your skills, Volunteer Days to give back to your community and access to Achievers, our reward and recognition platform, to ensure you can thrive both personally and professionally in a supportive and rewarding environment.
