Job summary

Hays is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organization for a 6-month contract with potential extensions. The role involves writing business requirements, creating test plans, and improving operations within the Operations and Change team. Suitable candidates will have strong knowledge of clearing processes, Credit Default Swaps, and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Senior BA skill set capable of working autonomously.
Strong product knowledge essential, especially in CDS.
Ability to set up methodologies and documentation for operations.

Responsibilities

Writing business requirements and creating test plans.
Documenting processes on complex CDS products.
Improving current state operations through gap identification.

Skills

Knowledge of clearing processes

Understanding of Credit Default Swaps

Autonomy in identifying operational gaps

FpML representation for CDS

Your new company
Hays has partnered with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced technical Business Analyst to join their Operations and Change team.

Length: 6-months + likely extension
Working Arrangements: Hybrid (3-days in London office + some occasional travel to Paris required)
Rate: £800/day inside via Umbrella
Closing date: Monday 09/06 @ 5pm

Key responsibilities/requirements

Writing business requirements, creating test plans/strategies, documenting processes on complex CDS products
Strong knowledge of clearing processes
Strong understanding of Credit Default Swaps and credit events (or similar - firm product knowledge is essential)
A senior BA skill set that can work autonomously, identify gaps in operations and set up methodologies and documentation to improve current state ops
An understanding of FpML representation for credit default swaps will be an advantage.
