Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital transformation programme in the UK. This role offers flexible hybrid working with two days onsite per week in Manchester or Leeds, and an emphasis on user-centred digital services within an Agile environment.

You will elicit and document business and user requirements, facilitate workshops, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, support delivery teams, and translate complex needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector.
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Contract Business Analyst

Up to £450 per day | Inside IR35 | Manchester or Leeds (2 days onsite per Month)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative Agile environment, helping to shape and deliver user-centred digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product delivery teams in an Agile environment
• Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
• Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Desirable

• Experience working within the GDS framework
• Previous involvement in Discovery and/or Alpha phases of digital projects
• Experience delivering user-centred digital services
