Job summary

Herefordshire Council is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the ASC Reporting Team, supporting Mosaic and related case management systems. You will gather requirements, drive process improvements, and ensure systems meet regulatory needs for Adult Social Care.

You will work with managers, practitioners and IT partners, contributing to inspections, data quality and training, while shaping frontline service improvements for residents.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in Adult Social Care
  • Knowledge of Mosaic or similar case management systems
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to translate complex needs

Contract:Fixed Term for 12 months (with a view to go permanent)

The Role

Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking to make a real difference in Adult Social Care?

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join ourASCReporting Team, atHerefordshireCouncil, supporting the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Mosaic and associated case management systems. This is a business-critical role that directly supports the delivery of statutory Adult Social Care services.

Working closely with operational managers, practitioners, IT colleagues and system suppliers, you will gather andanalysebusiness requirements, support system enhancements, improve processes and data quality, and ensure our systems meet operational, reporting and regulatory needs. You will also play a key role in supporting inspections, statutory reporting, user training and system testing.

What will you be doing?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong business analysis and process mapping skills.
  • Experience of case management systems, ideally Mosaic.
  • Knowledge of Adult Social Care services and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
