Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon is seeking a Business Analyst to drive the discovery, design and delivery of digital solutions that support Almac’s strategic goals.

You will lead requirements analysis, facilitate stakeholder engagement, support testing and business readiness, and help ensure the ongoing adoption and utilisation of digital products and services across the organisation.

Open to internal and external applicants; 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK or hold a valid work permit.
• BA/BSc degree or equivalent, or experience in requirements elicitation, design and delivery of software in relevant sectors.
• Experience performing requirements analysis and elicitation for software products using agile and waterfall.
• Experience in facilitating and executing testing of software products and solutions.
• Experience managing multiple deliverables from product initiation through to delivery.

The Role

The Business Analyst is responsible for driving the discovery, design, and delivery of digital solutions that align with Almac’s strategic goals. This role bridges business needs and technical execution by leading requirements analysis, facilitating stakeholder engagement, supporting testing and business readiness, and ensuring continuous improvement of digital products and services. Additionally, the Business Analyst will provide ongoing support where necessary to ensure the successful adoption and utilisation of digital solutions.

Essential Criteria

• Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK
• BA/BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent or experience in requirements elicitation, design and delivery of software solutions within the pharmaceutical, life sciences or healthcare industries
• Experience performing requirements analysis and elicitation for software products and solutions using agile and waterfall methodologies
• Experience in facilitating and executing testing of software products and solutions
• Experience managing multiple deliverables from product initiation through to delivery.
• Experience working in a multi-team environment with ability to meet key milestones
