Ageas UK is seeking a Business Analyst to join our change delivery teams. You will shape meaningful change by analyzing business needs, turning ideas into actionable requirements and supporting squads through development, testing and implementation.

You’ll collaborate across change, product, technology and delivery to deliver customer-focused solutions and positive business outcomes, while thriving in a flexible, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• A pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Strong experience in producing business documentation (requirements, user stories, impact assessments).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Self-motivated and proactive with delivery focus.
• Experience in billing, payments, collections or related financial operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Write clear technical stories and work closely with QA Engineers and Developers to refine them.
• Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, shaping priorities and ensuring requirements are understood.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define features and user stories aligned with customer needs and outcomes.
• Support planning activity for the business analysis phases of initiatives.
• Analyse complex business problems using customer insight and internal data to inform recommendations.
• Complete detailed change impact assessments as part of end-to-end delivery.
• Work with the wider change community to ensure change is delivered smoothly across the business.

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, Full Time, Job Share option available

Salary Range: Circa £56,000 depending on experience

Location: Hybrid, any Ageas UK office

Business Analyst: We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join us and play a key role in shaping meaningful change. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with project teams and Agile squads, using your analysis, problem-solving and design skills to turn business needs into practical solutions that improve the experience for our customers and colleagues. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of change delivery - exploring business challenges, translating ideas into clear requirements and ensuring teams have the insight they need from analysis and design through to development, testing and implementation. You’ll support the continuous improvement of new and existing products, helping us deliver our strategy now and into the future. You’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where your ideas, curiosity and analytical skills can make a real difference. Working across change, product, technology and delivery, you’ll help turn complex information into clear actions and support teams to deliver positive, lasting outcomes. Skills and experience you need as Business Analyst

• Experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
• The ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• A consistent, pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Strong working knowledge of producing business documentation, including requirements, user stories, impact assessments and supporting analysis.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the drive to deliver outcomes and achieve results.
• This role sits within our Billing and Payments domain, therefore experience within billing, payments, collections or related financial operations would be highly advantageous.
