Job summary

Qualifications

Essential experience in the bus industry, public transport sector, or bus operations.
Proven track record in delivering transport technology and ICT transformation projects.
Demonstrable experience with bus operational systems and supporting technologies.
Strong expertise in managing large-scale technology transition programs.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analysis of existing bus-related technology systems across YNYCA and partner authorities.
Develop understanding of current system architecture, ownership, contracts, licensing and operations.
Create and maintain a detailed technology transition plan for all bus systems and services.
Ensure seamless integration of systems into the Combined Authority without service disruption or degradation.
Identify and manage risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies associated with the transition program.
