Job summary
Stagecoach Peterborough Depot is seeking a skilled vehicle technician to maintain and repair our diverse fleet. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and perform servicing, inspections and major engine work as part of a safety‑focused depot team.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV maintenance or equivalent qualification.
- Strong hands-on experience with commercial vehicles, automotive, plant, rail or similar environments.
- Confident using diagnostic equipment and fault-finding tools.
- Basic electrical and electronic diagnostic knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing our fleet to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic technology.
- Carrying out servicing, inspections, preventative maintenance and roadside repairs.
- Completing major mechanical work, including engine overhauls and component replacements.
- Sharing your knowledge with apprentices and supporting the development of future engineers.
- Working as part of a close-knit depot team where safety and teamwork come first.
