Job summary

Arriva Group in Tunbridge Wells is recruiting a Trainee Bus Driver to start your career with paid training to earn a PCV licence at the Arriva Training School. You’ll begin with a four-to-six week training period at Northfleet depot, then work with a mentor as you move into regular driving duties.

The role offers progression into management or specialist driver paths, with ongoing CPC training and a supportive, inclusive team culture. Competitive hourly rates apply with shift-based work.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Great people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Complete paid training to obtain PCV licence at Arriva Training School.
• Operate as a bus driver on rotating shift patterns.
• Provide safe, reliable transport to customers.
• Participate in ongoing CPC training and career development.
