Job summary

McDonald’s Inverness High Street is seeking a Bus Driver in Lewis (3450) for 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. Salary ranges from £30,758 to £31,935 per year, including a £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance.

A Bus Driver is sought to undertake driving duties within Lewis ensuring that the buses are operated to the standards required by the Statutory Authorities and the Comhairle.

You must have a current full class D (PCV) Licence, experience in all aspects of driving passenger carrying vehicles and the ability to complete vehicle defect reports and driver records. You must also hold a valid driver CPC qualification.

Flexibility is required regarding availability for driving duties on split shifts, evenings and Saturdays as required for the benefit of the service.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children (Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme – mygov.scot).
