Job summary

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is seeking a Bus Driver to undertake driving duties within Lewis, ensuring buses operate to the standards required by the Statutory Authorities and the Comhairle.

You must hold a current full class D (PCV) Licence, and a valid Driver CPC qualification, with PVG scheme membership. Flexibility for split shifts, evenings and Saturdays is required for service delivery. Interviews will be in person, with a closing date and salary information included in the posting.

£30,758 to £31,935 per annum (inclusive of £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance per annum)

A Bus Driver is sought to undertake driving duties within Lewis ensuring that the buses are operated to the standards required by the Statutory Authorities and the Comhairle.

You must have a current full class D (PCV) Licence, experience in all aspects of driving passenger carrying vehicles and the ability to complete vehicle defect reports and driver records. You must also hold a valid driver CPC qualification.

Flexibility is required regarding availability for driving duties on split shifts, evenings and Saturdays as required for the benefit of the service.
