Job summary

Arriva Group is seeking a Recruitment Bus Driver Assessment Centre Coordinator to own the end-to-end coordination of assessment activity—from screening to onboarding. You’ll be the friendly voice candidates hear and the face they meet on the day, guiding them through to induction.

Based in the South/Midlands with travel to multiple Assessment Centres, you will work with assessors and medical teams to run centres smoothly and ensure compliant onboarding for new bus drivers.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator who builds rapport with candidates and colleagues.
• Experience coordinating multi‑stage assessment events and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end assessment activity for bus driver candidates.
• Engage with candidates ahead of assessment centres and reconfirm timings and locations.
• Attend assessment centres in person and greet candidates to set expectations.
• Collaborate with assessors, trainers and medical teams to run centres on schedule.
• Provide post‑assessment updates and guide successful applicants through onboarding.
