Job summary

VIVID Housing is seeking a Bulk Rubbish Operative based in Basingstoke. The role covers collection and disposal of bulky waste from residential properties and communal areas, with driving duties when needed.

You'll join our Estates team in a full-time, permanent position, working 39 hours per week. Applicants should have experience in waste collection or similar manual roles, a good COSHH understanding, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste collection, clearance or similar manual role.
• Good understanding of COSHH principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove bulk waste items including furniture and white goods.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report fly-tipping, hazardous waste or environmental concerns.
• Support recycling and sustainability initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
