Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd in Aldridge is seeking an experienced Bulk Powder Driver to join our team and support nationwide cement deliveries across the UK. The role involves regular nights out, with Monday to Friday work and occasional Saturdays, backed by a modern fleet and comprehensive training.

Safety, professionalism and strong customer service are essential as you collaborate with planning and transport teams.

Qualifications

A full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
A valid Driver CPC/DQC.
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
The required 35 hours of CPC training.
Good written and spoken English.
A professional attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
A willingness to learn and undertake full bulk powder training.
Flexibility regarding working hours and nights out.

Responsibilities

Carry out nationwide bulk cement deliveries safely and professionally.
Complete all required vehicle and equipment checks.
Operate bulk powder equipment following full training.
Maintain excellent customer service and professional standards.
Work closely with our planning, training and transport teams.
Carry out other transport duties when required.
Remain flexible regarding start and finish times, as working hours can vary within the haulage industry.
