Job summary

Calor Gas Ltd. is seeking a Transport Planner – Bulk Distribution to join our Coryton site on a fixed-term contract until April 2027.

You will develop daily transport plans for Bulk LPG operations, balancing safety, customer service, and cost, while using planning systems to optimise routes and maintain service continuity. The role requires experience in transport planning, strong communication, and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning and route optimisation.

• Proficient with planning tools and telemetry data.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe planning decisions.
• Develop and adjust daily delivery plans to meet customer needs.
• Optimise routes and manage orders using planning systems and Runbook.
• Monitor orders, telemetry and demand to support proactive planning.
• Manage disruptions and recovery to protect customer service.
• Maintain accurate planning data and trip records.
• Communicate with drivers and stakeholders to coordinate delivery.
• Capture driver feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor telematics and performance trends; take corrective action.
• Take ownership of daily plan execution and customer outcomes.
