Job Description

My client is looking for a Construction Manager to lead and be accountable for Buildings Construction Management on their Headhouse works. You will ensure that the scope of works is delivered safely, on time, to the required standards, meeting acceptance criteria, and achieving the expected financial outcomes.

This role is part of a Joint Venture project involving building tunnels and shafts for the second phase of National Grid’s scheme to rewire the capital and replace existing electricity cables nearing end of life. The project involves delivering mechanical and electrical (M&E) works and headhouses for this phase.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree)
• Appropriate safety training and qualification for the nature of the works (e.g., SMSTS, TSTS)
• 5+ years of experience in project management of major engineering projects
• Technical knowledge relevant to the nature of works
