Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Building Surveyor to join an established Building Surveying team. You will undertake inspections, prepare reports and support maintenance and refurbishment projects across varied assignments.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Building Surveying, strong measurement and reporting skills, and a full UK driving licence. This permanent role offers career development and exposure to MRICS progression.

Qualifications

Degree/HNC/HND in Building Surveying or equivalent.
Strong understanding of construction methods and Building Regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication and report writing.
UK driving licence is essential.
Proactive attitude with a desire to develop in Building Surveying.

Responsibilities

Undertaking building inspections, condition surveys and defect assessments.
Preparing schedules of condition and technical reports.
Supporting maintenance and refurbishment projects delivery and management.
Assisting with contract administration, specifications and tender documentation.
Monitoring programmes, contractor performance and project costs.
Attending site meetings and liaising with clients and consultants.
Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and health & safety standards.
