Job summary

Building Careers UK is seeking a Building Surveyor for our Manchester-based team. The role offers hybrid working with an office presence three days a week and exposure to projects from £10,000 up to £1 million, delivering surveys, reports and procurement support.

You will work closely with clients, contractors and consultants, taking on increasing responsibility as you progress within a growing consultancy environment. RICS qualification or progression is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Building Surveyor.
• Experience across commercial property and refurbishment projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and practical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building surveys and inspections across commercial and residential property.
• Prepare professional reports, schedules of works and specifications.
• Advise on refurbishment, maintenance and repair requirements.
• Support project delivery and contract administration.
• Develop client relationships and liaise with contractors and consultants.
