Job summary

Tai Tarian Ltd invites applications for a permanent Building Surveyor. The role reports to the Property Surveying Manager and focuses on assessing building condition, identifying defects, diagnosing root causes and delivering cost-effective solutions for the portfolio.

You will contribute to retrofit and energy efficiency initiatives with whole-building performance considerations, and provide technical guidance to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable management of homes.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree standard or equivalent.
• Qualified DEA/Retrofit Assessor or committed to working towards.

Responsibilities

• Assess the condition and performance of buildings and identify defects and risks.
• Diagnose root causes and develop proportionate, cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to retrofit, energy efficiency and fabric improvement programmes.
• Provide technical advice to support safe, compliant, sustainable management of homes and buildings.
