Job Title: Building Surveyor - Education Team

As a Building Surveyor in our Education Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of projects ranging from £30k to £1m, working with clients including Diocesan Schools, Multi and Single Academy Trusts. There are broader opportunities across our Department for Education account on leading commissions.

1. Take responsibility for delivering projects (generally ranging from £30K - £1M) and professional assignments, or support senior colleagues in delivering larger projects.
2. Provide sound and reasoned technical and professional advice to clients or internal stakeholders related to Building Surveying services, including: Design and specification, Contract administration, Party wall matters, Dilapidations.
3. Assist in developing Building Surveying services by responding to market opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MRICS qualified or at the final stage of APC assessment.
• Good communication skills with a proactive approach and can-do attitude.
• Thorough knowledge of traditional and modern building construction technology and techniques.
• Experience in design and specification, contract administration, and property refurbishment and maintenance.
• Experience in controlling quality on projects and managing challenging projects.
• A broad thinker and problem-solver with a commercial outlook on property and asset management.
• Commercially aware and financially astute.
