This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor working towards MRICS to develop their career within a supportive consultancy, handling a diverse range of public sector and education projects and gaining exposure across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Working towards MRICS.
• Experience in building surveying consultancy.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out building surveys and condition reports.
• Managing planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
• Preparing specifications and schedules of work.
• Contract administration for projects.
• Project management of small to medium-sized works.
• Defect diagnosis and technical advice.
• Supporting delivery of education and public sector projects.
• Working towards APC with support from experienced professionals.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor working towards their MRICS qualification to develop their career within a supportive consultancy, working on a diverse range of public sector and education projects.

You will gain valuable exposure across the full building surveying lifecycle, working closely with experienced Chartered Surveyors and a range of public sector clients.

The Role

You will be involved in a varied workload including:

• Building surveys and condition reports
• Planned maintenance and refurbishment projects
• Preparation of specifications and schedules of work
• Contract administration
• Project management of small to medium-sized works
• Defect diagnosis and technical advice
• Supporting the delivery of education and public sector projects
• Working towards your APC with support from experienced professionals
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Relevant experience within a building surveying consultancy
• Working towards MRICS
• Some experience across professional and/or project-based building surveying
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of building pathology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in building surveying
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous

Salary: £60000 – £64000/annum
