Joshua Robert Recruitment are assisting a leading property consultancy in Worcester to recruit an experienced Senior Building Surveyor. The role covers a varied workload across Worcestershire and South Birmingham, with opportunities to lead client relationships and drive growth.

You will deliver project and professional instructions, manage assignments end-to-end, and contribute to the team’s ongoing success in a reputable regional practice.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or active progression toward chartership with suitable experience.
• Broad experience across building surveying instructions.
• Strong technical knowledge and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple instructions and meet deadlines.
• Professional client management and business development mindset.
• Proactive, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of building surveying instructions (surveys, condition surveys, defect analysis, due diligence).
• Manage project work: contract admin, project monitoring, refurbishment schemes.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work and tender docs.
• Conduct building inspections and provide practical client advice.
• Oversee instructions from inception to completion delivering high quality work.
• Build and maintain strong client/contractor relationships.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
