Job summary

Joshua Robert Recruitment Limited is representing a leading property consultancy recruiting an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their Worcester team. You will work on a varied mix of project and professional instructions, delivering expert building surveying advice to a diverse client base across Worcestershire and South Birmingham.

MRICS qualification or progression towards chartership is preferred.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• Solid experience across a broad range of building surveying instructions.
• Strong report-writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple instructions and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a range of professional instructions, including building surveys, condition surveys, defect analysis and technical due diligence.
• Managing project work, including contract administration, project monitoring and refurbishment schemes.
• Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
• Undertaking building inspections and providing practical, commercially focused advice to clients.
• Managing instructions from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and other property professionals.
• Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the development of the wider team.
