We are recruiting a talented Building Surveyor for an industry-leading, multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sevenoaks or London. Our client offers services including Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Fire Engineering, Employers Agent, and more. They work with clients such as local authorities, commercial entities, private organizations, PFI & Building Managers, and the public sector.

The Building Surveyor will provide professional services, complete project-based work, write specifications, and administer contracts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct detailed inspections of high-rise, educational, or healthcare buildings, focusing on defects and structural issues.
2. Use building pathology expertise to identify and document defects in residential properties.
3. Explain various types of defects and provide comprehensive reports with insights and remedial recommendations.
4. Assess the quality and causes of building defects, especially in domestic structures.
5. Utilize building pathology knowledge for defect analysis.
6. Prepare reports and administer contracts for high-rise remediation works.
7. Assist with the tender process and procurement of consultants.

Qualifications & Skills
