Thistle Surveying Ltd in the Midlands is seeking an AssocRICS or MRICS surveyor to manage a diary of Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys. You can work from home or on site, with no office attendance required.

Employed, part-time or self-employed arrangements are considered. The role includes producing high-quality reports, potential specialist work, and regular CPD.

Formación

• MRICS or AssocRICS designation required.
• Hands-on experience inspecting and reporting on residential property.
• Clear written English.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.

• Produce clear, well-written reports within five working days.
• Take on specialist work such as valuations and snagging inspections on request.
• Liaise with the office team on access, bookings and client queries.
• Keep up to date with RICS standards and CPD requirements.

Thistle Surveying is a RICS-regulated building surveying and valuation practice based in Birmingham, carrying out residential surveys, valuations and specialist instructions across the Midlands and West London. Demand has outgrown what we can deliver, so we're looking for an AssocRICS or MRICS surveyor to take on a diary of Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys. Full-time, part-time or self-employed arrangements considered. You manage your own diary and work from home or on site; there's no requirement to be in the office.

Duties

• Carry out RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys across the Midlands, typically 6–8 a week
• Produce clear, well-written reports to the RICS Home Survey Standard, issued within five working days
• Take on specialist work if you want it: valuations, housing disrepair inspections for solicitors, snagging inspections, defect reports and occasional commercial instructions
• Liaise with the office team on access, booking and client queries
• Keep up to date with RICS standards and CPD requirements

Qualifications

• AssocRICS or MRICS (essential)
• Hands-on experience inspecting and reporting on residential property
• Clear written English and confidence on site
• Full UK driving licence and own car (essential)
• Reliable, punctual and happy to speak to clients
