Job summary

JP Engineering, a growing consultancy, seeks an experienced Building Surveyor to work on a diverse Hull portfolio across commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public-sector projects. You will own projects, build client relationships and develop technical expertise in a hybrid, full-time role.

Ideal candidates hold a Building Surveying degree with UK experience, strong report writing and client communication skills, and are either RICS qualified or working towards chartership.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related subject.
• Previous UK building surveying experience.
• Good knowledge of construction, defects and building pathology.
• Strong report writing and technical skills.
• Confident communicating with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out building surveys, inspections and condition assessments.
• Producing clear, professional reports and schedules of works.
• Investigating defects and providing practical technical advice.
• Preparing specifications and contract documentation.
• Supporting project management and contract administration.

Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a role with variety, progression and the chance to work on interesting projects?

We're looking for a Building Surveyor to join a growing consultancy in Hull, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public-sector projects.
