A well established and reputable firm of Chartered Surveyors is looking for a Residential Building Surveyor to join their growing team. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality, client focused surveying services across London and the surrounding counties, and this is a genuine opportunity to join a professional, supportive team with real flexibility built into the working model.
The role is hybrid, with a mix of field based survey work and home working for report writing and admin. You will be based from their Hertfordshire office when needed.
Carrying out Level 2 Homebuyer Reports, Level 2 Plus Valuations, and Level 3 Building Surveys on residential properties across London and surrounding counties. You will also be providing property and reinstatement valuations, producing detailed reports, identifying defects, and communicating findings clearly to clients throughout the process. All work is carried out in line with RICS standards.
AssocRICS, MRICS or working toward full RICS membership. Experience in Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys and a solid understanding of building pathology and property defects. VRS status is an advantage but not essential, and those eligible and working toward it will be considered. You will need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable covering a reasonable travel patch.
