Job Title: Housing Inspector

We are working with a leading Social Housing provider in West Yorkshire, seeking a Housing Inspector to join a multidisciplinary team. Your role will involve inspecting residences, diagnosing issues, and making evidence-based recommendations to maintain high standards across the housing portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting various surveys, including planned and reactive maintenance repairs, voids, damp and mould, and condensation surveys.
2. Creating a schedule of works based on your findings.
3. Engaging with stakeholders such as contractors, developers, and local authorities to ensure repairs meet required standards.
4. Logging customer queries during visits and providing points of referral.

Requirements:

• Ideally, hold a technical qualification such as HNC or RICS.
• Experience working in Social Housing or Local Authority environments, particularly with residential properties.
• Experience with repairs, maintenance, disrepair, damp and mould, and voids.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle a diverse range of customers.
