Job summary

Genesis Technology Services in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Building Surveying Manager to lead a professional surveying team and oversee housing maintenance, planned maintenance and major capital programmes.

You will manage budgets, procurement, contracts and compliance while delivering high-value projects from feasibility to completion, with a strong focus on stakeholder liaison and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Building-related degree or professional qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong building surveying, project management and contract management experience.
• Experience managing staff and working with contractors and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of building, health & safety and regulatory requirements.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent desirable.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisational and problem-solving skills.
