Job summary

Castlerock Building Maintenance Inc. is hiring for a cleaning position in London, ON. This permanent, full-time role requires on-site work at an apartment/condominium setting with duties including hallway cleaning, window washing, and maintenance checks.

The ideal candidate has a college-level certificate, 7 months to 1 year of experience, and a WHMIS certificate. Flexible, reliable, and physically capable applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning required; 7 months to less than 1 year.
• Work must be done at the physical location; no remote work.
• WHMIS Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• Perform safety and security checks.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
