Job summary

Mcg-Construction-6 is seeking an experienced Building Services Project Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to lead MEP projects across diverse sectors. You will own projects from inception to completion while developing your career within a growing business.

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Project Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid Building Services background who is looking to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion while developing their career within a growing business.

Typical Projects:

• Commercial MEP fit-outs (CAT A & CAT B)
• MEP Design Only and Design & Build projects
• Design validation and condition surveys
• Dilapidation's and lifecycle replacement works

The Role:

As a Building Services Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical and MEP projects, with responsibilities including:

• Carrying out site surveys
• Preparing estimates and tender returns
• Coordinating and managing the design process
• Producing and reviewing technical submittals
• Developing project programmes
• Procuring plant, materials and specialist subcontractors
• Supporting and managing project delivery from inception to completion
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Managing commissioning activities and project handovers
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

We're looking for someone who has:

• A solid background in Building Services Engineering
• A strong mechanical bias
• Good technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• A proactive attitude and the ambition to grow with a successful and expanding business
