Job summary

Journey Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Building Services Engineer for an on-site role in Ascot to support mechanical building services and the venue’s infrastructure. You will ensure asset reliability, system efficiency and safe operations during peak demand, with on-call cover part of the rotation.

You will work under the M&E Team Leader, providing technical support during events and routine maintenance to keep facilities performing optimally.

Qualifications

Recognised mechanical or plumbing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds)
Experience as a Building Services Engineer in large/complex environments
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings
Experience with BMS systems (Schneider EcoStruxure advantageous)
Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH Regulations
Experience overseeing specialist contractors

Responsibilities

Monitor reactive and planned maintenance via CAFM; ensure documentation is complete
Uphold Health & Safety standards across mechanical activities
Support contractor management and equipment maintenance contracts
Assist with on-site CAT scanning (training provided)
Analyse system performance via the BMS platform
Carry out servicing/repairs on AHUs and FCUs
Support on-site mechanical installations for events
Participate in on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks)
