Job summary

Acorn Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled Building Services Engineer to join our growing team across the South East. You will perform planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across client sites in Hampshire and surrounding counties, ensuring reliable HVAC, heating and ventilation systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Building Services or Maintenance Engineer.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical building services, including HVAC systems, heating and ventilation.
  • Experience delivering planned preventative maintenance across commercial sites.
  • The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and plan workloads efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • A good understanding of health and safety and site compliance.
  • Relevant mechanical or building services qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent preferred).
  • A full UK driving licence.

We are currently seeking a Building Services Engineer to join our team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across client sites in Hampshire and the surrounding counties.

Salary & Hours

Salary: Up to £44,000 depending on experience, plus overtime and call‑out payments.


Hours: 41.25 hours per week - Monday to Friday
