We create great places and communities to live that our customers are proud to call home.
It’s an exciting time to join us. We own or manage around 7,000 homes across North Somerset, Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, and Sedgemoor. We have a diverse housing portfolio in terms of age and type, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated property specialist to manage our landlord compliance and safety servicing requirements.
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for our compliance activities, including Gas, Electrical, Water, Fire, Lifts, and Asbestos workstreams within our assets. You will help shape these services to ensure we remain compliant with statutory and regulatory obligations, maintaining safe and high-quality homes for our customers.
The role involves building and fire safety responsibilities, including ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Act 2021, engaging with customers to confirm the safety of their homes, collaborating with regulatory bodies, and preparing building safety cases for approvals and certifications.
You will manage budgetary and operational performance requirements for these services and have opportunities to innovate in technology and work practices, further establishing Alliance as a leader in this field.
This is a key management role, offering an excellent opportunity to enhance your technical and leadership skills, supported by an experienced senior leadership team.
In this strategically important role, you should have a proven track record in a similar position within the housing, property, or development sector, with program management skills in leading compliance change projects and managing resources.
You should possess extensive, up-to-date knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, Health and Safety legislation, and risk management.
You are solutions-driven, committed to safety and customer well-being, and experienced in leading, managing, and motivating teams with a clear vision for service delivery.
Applications will be reviewed as received, and interviews may be conducted early, so we recommend submitting your application promptly.
