Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the Building Safety Surveys Programme (BSSP) across occupied higher-risk residential buildings from our London head office. You will oversee complex, multi-year planning, resourcing and delivery to meet regulatory requirements, budgets and timescales.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary partners—consultants, contractors, fire risk assessors, structural specialists and asbestos surveyors—while working closely with building

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large, complex programmes.
• Knowledge of HRB regulations and Golden Thread requirements.
• Experience coordinating surveys and intrusive investigations in occupied buildings.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources.
• Strong governance, reporting and risk management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with residents and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, monitoring and delivery of the BSSP.
• Develop detailed programme plans using MS Project.
• Maintain governance, reporting, risk and issue management.
• Manage budgets and resources; monitor expenditure.
• Oversee consultants, contractors and specialists.
• Coordinate fire strategy and risk assessment reviews.
• Ensure building safety information is recorded and available.
• Coordinate access, asbestos surveys and enabling works with residents.
