Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Building Safety Programme Manager in North London to lead delivery of building and fire safety improvements across Higher-Risk Buildings. You will drive projects from design through to completion, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, engage with the Building Safety Regulator, monitor budget and risk, and report to senior governance boards, delivering best-practice safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering major construction, remediation or fire-safety projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and HRB regulatory framework.
• Experience managing projects under the Building Safety Regulator's Gateway regime.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and governance reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of building and fire safety capital works across Higher-Risk Buildings.
• Manage projects through design, procurement, construction and completion.
• Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act 2022 and relevant building, fire and health & safety legislation.
• Manage projects requiring engagement with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).
• Oversee Gateway submissions and approvals where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with HRB requirements around design control, construction control and significant change control.
• Manage consultants, Principal Designers, Principal Contractors and specialist advisors.
• Monitor budgets, programme risks, quality, timescales and contractor performance.
• Produce reports and programme updates for senior management and governance boards.
• Work collaboratively across compliance, asset management, housing and finance teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice in building safety project delivery.
• Significant experience delivering major construction, remediation, fire safety or compliance projects.
