Building Safety Manager

We are delighted to be recruiting for a new Building Safety Manager to work out of our Bracknell office.

This is an exciting time to join the Asset Management team at Abri, with significant growth occurring from partnership opportunities.

Your main purpose will be to support Abri Group in delivering its duties as Principle Accountable Person and Accountable Person for Higher Risk Buildings as defined by the Building Safety Act 2022.

You will act as the primary point of contact for your HRB building residents, occupiers, and accountable persons, maintaining building safety while fostering openness, trust, and collaboration.

The main purpose of this role is to work with the wider business to ensure high-risk and complex buildings within the scope of legislation are compliantly managed and maintained safely. You will also be responsible for managing building safety cases and preparing reports for the Building Safety Regulator.

Requirements:

1. Demonstrable knowledge of current building and fire safety legislation and guidance.
2. Excellent communication skills with a strong awareness of building safety and resident engagement.
3. Ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
