Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting a Building Safety Levy Officer for a Local Authority in Ealing.The role is 35 hours per week, 3-month contract with hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 days remote).

Based in Ealing, you will administer the new Building Safety Levy, handle invoices, payments and records, and liaise with Planning, Finance and Building Control teams to ensure compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative or operational role, preferably within a local authority or public sector environment.
  • Knowledge of financial processes including invoicing, payment tracking and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of planning, building control or regulatory processes.
  • Experience working within established procedures, guidance and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage data accurately and maintain detailed records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across different teams.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Building Safety Levy Officer to join a Local Authority in Ealing's Building Control & Surveying Services team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in administering the new Building Safety Levy, helping to ensure compliance with legislation, accurate financial processes, and effective service delivery across the council.

Essential Qualifications
  • GCSEs Grades A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
