Essential Employment is seeking a Building Safety Levy Implementation Officer in Ealing, London. You will lead the rollout of the levy, building robust processes, systems and governance to support its administration.

You will design end-to-end levy procedures, ensure system readiness and coordinate cross-functional delivery to meet statutory requirements ahead of the levy’s start. The role emphasizes compliance and smooth transition to BAU operations.

Job description

Building Safety Levy Implementation Officer needed in Ealing.

• Lead the implementation and establishment of the Building Safety Levy, ensuring robust processes, systems, controls and governance arrangements are in place to support its effective administration.
• Design and embed end-to-end levy processes, establish operational procedures, ensure system readiness, and coordinate cross-functional delivery to meet statutory requirements ahead of the levy’s commencement.
• Ensure the organisation is fully prepared to administer, collect, manage and report on the Building Safety Levy, enabling a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, financial regulations, governance frameworks and audit requirements, while supporting the effective management and reporting of levy-related activities.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
