Job summary

YMCA Thames Gateway Group is seeking a Building Safety Manager to lead safety, compliance and operational integrity across a diverse property portfolio including hostels, youth centre, gym and café. You will identify risks proactively and stay ahead of evolving safety regulations to create a safe environment for young people and communities.

The role is permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks proactively and stay on top of evolving safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for young people and communities across a diverse property portfolio (hostels, self-supported accommodation, youth centre, gym, café).
• Lead on safety, compliance, and operational integrity of YMCA Thames Gateway Group properties.
