Job summary

Pick Everard in London is seeking a Building Safety Act (BSA) Consultant / Principal Designer to join a growing safety team. You will manage BSA and Principal Designer commissions, delivering compliant, high-quality outcomes in collaboration with clients, designers, and contractors.

The role offers mentoring, development opportunities, and a chance to contribute to diverse UK-wide projects, with ownership of work, effective communication, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Hold an Architectural or Architectural Technology qualification (RIBA Part I-III or equivalent).
• Experience delivering projects across the UK through a range of RIBA work stages.
• Experience working alongside or supporting a Principal Designer Building Regulations (PDBR).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Building Safety Act (BSA) and Principal Designer services across a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.
• Coordinate deliverables, manage documentation, and ensure programmes and budgets stay on track.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop technical expertise through mentoring and hands-on project experience.
• Facilitate design risk reviews and contribute to Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety Files.
