If you answered yes to the above questions, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for a Building Safety Act (BSA) Consultant / Principal Designer to join our growing team in London. You'll work closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to help deliver safe, compliant, and successful outcomes under the Building Safety Act. Our team brings together a wealth of industry experience and is made up of a number of qualified Architects who have successfully transitioned into Building Safety and Principal Designer roles.

As a Building & Construction Safety Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of BSA and Principal Designer commissions, providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice to clients, designers, and contractors. You'll be responsible for delivering projects to agreed scope, quality, programme, and commercial objectives, while building trusted relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

You’ll work independently to manage your workload, maintain accurate project records, and ensure all documentation and outputs meet our high standards. Alongside developing your technical expertise, you’ll gain valuable experience in client management, commercial awareness, risk management, and project delivery.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your career within a respected and growing safety team, providing a strong foundation for future progression and professional development.

  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects by coordinating key deliverables, managing documentation, and ensuring programmes and budgets remain on track.
  • Collaborating with senior team members to develop your technical expertise, benefiting from mentoring, guidance, and hands-on project experience.
  • Facilitating design risk reviews and contributing to the preparation and management of Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety Files.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, providing clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring project performance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting commercial activities including forecasting, resource planning, and invoicing.
  • Contributing ideas to improve processes, templates, systems, and ways of working, helping to drive continuous improvement across the team.
  • Supporting the preparation of bids, tenders, and fee proposals by providing technical input and project insights.
  • Playing an active role in fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture aligned with our Deliver Better Together ethos.
  • Taking ownership of your work, proactively managing priorities, identifying risks, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
